On Saturday, the Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder can be nominated by the CSU for re-election. He has now explained in advance that his political ambition would have been satisfied.
The prime minister has been on the road a lot lately. Photos on Twitter show Markus Söder at Bavarian crafts guilds, at groundbreakings, as a spectator at tennis and football. He sniffs Franconian sausages at the butcher’s, visits clubs, trade fairs and companies. Söder inaugurated three wind turbines at once – there is a lot of catching up to do in Bavaria -, distributed soup to the needy at a table and opened a robotic center. In addition, the father of the country honored the beer tents of several folk festivals, which reliably earned the declared cannabis opponent Söder the accusation of a hypocritical drug policy.
