“We see great potential in Kenya for the migration of skilled workers in many areas of our economy,” he said after talks with Kenyan President William Ruto in Nairobi. The traffic light government has set itself the task of making the immigration of skilled workers much easier. Minister of Labor Hubertus Heil (SPD) said in a debate in the Bundestag last week that all registers had to be pulled out to secure jobs and skilled workers. “If we don’t do that, we will lack seven million workers and skilled workers by 2035.”
