An 18-year-old suspected right-wing extremist from the Limburg-Weilburg district in Hesse has been taken into custody on suspicion of having prepared a serious act of violence that would endanger the state.
According to previous investigations, the accused has an entrenched violent, anti-Semitic and right-wing extremist attitude, said the Frankfurt public prosecutor’s office and the State Criminal Police Office in Wiesbaden. “The 18-year-old had threatened several times in relevant forums that he wanted to kill people in pursuit of his political goals,” said the LKA. He is also suspected of violating the weapons law.
