Who are the alleged perpetrators?
The four direct perpetrators who shot at concertgoers and set the building on fire last Friday evening were caught by Russian special forces the next day. All four are citizens of Tajikistan. In front of the court they showed clear signs of torture on their faces. One of the men was wheeled into the courtroom in a wheelchair and was unconscious during the hearing. All defendants except him pleaded guilty.
