Who would voters under 30 cast their vote for? According to a survey, most people would vote for the Greens and the Union. The Chancellor’s SPD party, on the other hand, is still behind the AfD.
According to an analysis of Forsa survey data, the Greens and the CDU/CSU receive the greatest support from voters under the age of 30. Both would receive 21 percent of the vote in the 18 to 29 year old voter group, according to figures from the polling institute Forsa. Representative surveys of 4,570 people between the ages of 18 and 29 from January to April were evaluated.
The AfD is in third place with 14 percent of the vote among those under 30. The SPD follows behind with 13 percent. The FDP received 8 percent, the Left 6 and the Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) 3 percent of the vote. According to the evaluation, the other parties accounted for 14 percent of the votes.
Election surveys are generally subject to uncertainty. Among other things, weakening party ties and increasingly short-term voting decisions make it more difficult for opinion research institutes to weight the data collected. In principle, surveys only reflect the opinion at the time of the survey and are not predictions of the election outcome.
