Robert Costello was supposed to be a defense witness to incriminate Michael Cohen and exonerate Donald Trump. But then Costello complained about the judge. He has the room cleared and takes on the witness.
When Robert Costello attacks the judge for the first time, it almost goes under. The public prosecutor has just objected that the witness should not answer. When the prosecution and defense representatives go to the judge’s desk for a brief conversation, Costello says: “Ridiculous.”
Then Emil Bove, Donald Trump’s defense attorney, asks: “What do you remember…” The public prosecutor’s office intervenes again. Judge Juan Merchan grants this. “Jeez,” Costello says. That means something like: Oh my God.
