According to Lebanese sources, Israel’s military has once again carried out heavy air attacks on the suburbs south of Beirut. By morning, the state agency NNA reported around 25 attacks there, and local media also reported massive attacks during the night and in the morning.
Among other things, a gas station and a building where medicines were stored were hit in the area near the international airport. In the suburbs south of the capital, there were the heaviest bombardments since the Israeli attacks began there, NNA reported. The explosions were also heard in the center of Beirut.
Israel also continued the attacks in the south, including in the Nabatiyeh area. The Health Ministry said another 23 people were killed and more than 90 others were injured. According to his statement, more than 2,000 people have been killed and nearly 10,000 others injured since new confrontations between Israel and Hezbollah began in Lebanon a year ago. The ministry does not differentiate between civilians and Hezbollah fighters.
