The Israeli army continues to bomb targets in Lebanon at night. The Hezbollah militia, in turn, fires rockets into northern Israel. Apparently Israel didn’t catch everyone.
The Israeli army says it has attacked the Hezbollah militia’s intelligence headquarters in the Lebanese capital Beirut. As the military announced that night, fighter jets had also attacked command centers and other “terrorist infrastructure” of the pro-Iranian Shiite militia. Hezbollah weapons depots in the area around the capital were previously bombed again. None of the information could initially be independently verified.
Hezbollah, in turn, continued its shelling of northern Israel. According to the Israeli military, around five rockets were initially fired at the port city of Haifa in the evening. Despite defensive fire, projectiles hit the area. The case is being investigated, it said. According to the Times of Israel, five people were injured by shrapnel in Haifa. Pictures showed damage on a road. That was followed by another 15 rockets from Lebanon, some of which the military said were intercepted. Others fell. According to the Times of Israel, one person was injured in the city of Tiberias.
