Elections in the USA: President Biden has already voted
In the USA you can cast your vote at the polling station before the actual election day on November 5th. Probably the most prominent voter also uses this.
About a week before the US election, President Joe Biden has already cast his vote. The 81-year-old voted at a polling station in his home state of Delaware.
As video footage shows, Biden first had to wait in line with other voters for a while before disappearing into the voting booth, which was shielded by a black curtain. He later received a sticker that read: “I Voted Early.”
Biden took advantage of the opportunity to vote before Election Day on November 5th. This early voting has already begun in several states.
In the US presidential election, there is a neck-and-neck race between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris, who is currently Biden’s vice president. On November 5th, voters will also vote on about a third of the seats in the US Senate and the House of Representatives.
