Palestinians: 120 dead in Israeli attacks in Gaza

According to Palestinian information, at least 120 people have been killed in attacks by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip since Friday night. When asked, the Israeli army emphasized that it needed the exact geographical coordinates of the attacks to issue a statement. However, these are only rarely available due to the severe destruction. Employees of Palestinian rescue services told the German Press Agency that there were around 25 deaths in the north of the Gaza Strip and another 20 in the refugee district of Nuseirat in the center of the coastal strip. According to civil defense, 75 people were also killed in attacks in the town of Beit Lahia in the north of the region. The information did not differentiate between armed people and civilians. The Gaza war was triggered by the massacre by Hamas and other extremists from the Gaza Strip in Israel with 1,200 dead and around 250 abducted on October 7, 2023.
