Which politicians the Germans are happy with – and who fails

Before the 2025 federal election, the focus is primarily on the parties’ top staff. Surveys show Germans’ satisfaction with politicians.
At the end of February, Germans will elect a new Bundestag. After the traffic light government came to an end, election day is now coming earlier than originally planned. In the run-up to the vote, as is always the case with elections, it is not just about parties, programs and content – but also and above all about people. The approval ratings of top personnel are an important factor in the election result. Accordingly, the top candidates in particular are trying to personally score points with the electorate and convince the people in the country of themselves. This is often only partially successful, as current surveys before the election show.
