Asma al-Assad arrived in Russia with her two sons and daughter days before her husband. Now the deposed Syrian dictator has arrived in Moscow – and the family has been reunited. “Russia granted them asylum on humanitarian grounds,” the state agency Tass quoted a Kremlin representative as saying.
