After the traffic lights were broken, there was a political standstill. However, 37 armaments projects are still to be approved in the Bundestag for the Bundeswehr. Is the Union taking part?
A grenade currently costs the German state around 87 euros. 560,000 units are now to be purchased for the Bundeswehr, costing just under 50 million euros. And this is one of the smaller items on Federal Defense Minister Boris Pistorius’s (SPD) shopping list for his troops. In addition, around 500 new Taurus cruise missiles are to be purchased for almost one billion euros, as well as submarines for 4.7 billion euros.
