According to France, Russia threatened a French reconnaissance aircraft over the Baltic Sea. An S-400 air defense system aimed its fire control radar at the plane on Thursday night, wrote French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu on “This aggressive Russian action is unacceptable.” Lecornu wrote about intimidation measures. The plane was traveling as part of a NATO operation.
Last year, Lecornu had already said that Russian troops had threatened to shoot down French reconnaissance aircraft over the Black Sea.
