Russia attacks Ukraine again with rockets, drones and sliding bombs. More than a dozen civilians die. The destruction is massive. Kyiv appeals to the West.

With new Russian air strikes on cities in Ukraine, more than a dozen people have been killed and more injured. In Poltawa in Central Luckraine, the authorities reported 11 deaths in the evening and 16 injured in a residential building after a rocket was hit. An injured person died in the hospital, said Ukrainian civil protection. Four children were among the injured. Before that, the authorities had repeatedly increased the number of victims. A three -day grief was set in the region.

In Sumy in the northeast of the country, two people were killed in a Russian attack, the authorities said. A person also died in Charkiw in the east – in the event of a drone attack, the city said.

There were also serious damage in the South Ukrainian city of Saporischschja and in the port city of Odessa, where more than a dozen listed buildings were hit in the historical center. The old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Several people were injured there on Friday evening. The Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj spoke of a “further terrorist crime”.

Russia attacked several cities at night – with various weapons, including drones, rockets and sliding bombs, said Selenskyj. He also reported damage in other regions and another six injuries.

Ukraine needs more protection against Russian terror, Selenskyj appealed to the supporters of the country in the west. “Every anti -aircraft system, every defense rocket is a lifegian.

Russia: destroy the goals of the energy infrastructure

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced in Moscow in the morning that the attacks had been applied to the country’s energy infrastructure, with which Ukraine maintains the operation of its armaments industry. “The goals of the blows were achieved. All targeted objects were destroyed,” said the Ministry.

The information from the warring parties can hardly be checked on an independent side. Ukraine has been defending itself against the Russian attack war for almost three years.
