Building foam in the exhaust
Faeser: Russia also relies on sabotage in Germany

What only looked like a bad prank of radical climate activists could have been a sabotage campaign by the Kremlin. Putin is not intimidated, says the Federal Minister of the Interior.
From the perspective of Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser, the presumed auto-sabotage series with building foam in the exhaust fits the picture. “We take the suspicion very seriously that it could be Russian sabotage campaigns,” said the SPD politician of the German Press Agency. The investigation is currently in full swing and it has to be waited for until the background is fully cleared up. However, it is clear to them: “We cannot rule out Russian influence surgery.” Finally, it is known that sabotage campaigns were also part of the Russian repertoire.
The Kremlin also uses so -called proxies, said Faeser. This means actors who act on behalf of a secret service without belonging himself. It is also known that “Russia has an interest in influencing the Bundestag election,” added Faeser.
It became known on Wednesday that the police were suspected that a series of sabotage files against cars in several federal states from Moscow were controlled. After initial investigations, it can be assumed that the Saboteurs had received money from a Russian client for their actions, it was said from security circles.
The exhaust pipe with a building foam had been clogged for the vehicles. At the scene of the crime, there were some snippets of paper with slogans that were supposed to indicate the Greens – possibly an attempt to present the act as an action as an action of radical climate activists.
Ulm public prosecutor knows four suspects
According to its own statements, the public prosecutor’s office in Ulm now has four suspects. There are a total of 123 property damage, said a spokesman. The four men are 17, 18, 20 and 29 years old. According to their identity papers, it is a German, a Serbs, a Romanian and a citizen of Bosnia-Herzegovinas.
“Our security authorities remain extremely vigilant and protect the Bundestag election,” said Faeser. The Democrats and Democrats in Germany were not intimidated by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. “And we don’t go back to our support for Ukraine,” emphasized the minister.
