US President Trump has arms regulations check

In the United States, firearms are the order of the day. Trump and his Republicans block themselves against stricter laws. Measures of the past four years are now to be checked.
US President Donald Trump wants to put stricter arms regulations in the country to the test. The Republican instructed his Minister of Justice Pam Bondi to check all government measures since January 2021, which may have restricted the right to possession of weapons.
In particular, regulations and arms categorizations are to be examined. “The right to own and carry weapons must not be touched because it is the basis for the protection of all other rights of the Americans,” says Trump’s order.
In the United States, fatal firearms are part of everyday life. Pistols and weapons of larger calibers are not only easily accessible, but also millions of times. Particularly severe attacks always spark debates about tightening weapons law. However, concrete progress has so far failed to materialize-especially because of the resistance of the Republicans and the financially influential weapon lobby that have been blocking reforms for years.
