FDP fights: prevent the economy first and black-green

Before the new election of the Bundestag, the liberals are on the abyss. The chairman Lindner fights, is cheered and states: He wants “no government together with the Greens”.
Now it’s all about everything: the liberals are facing a threatening failure in the Bundestag election in two weeks as the “bulwark against black and green”. At an extraordinary party congress in Potsdam, Federal Chairman Christian Lindner also called for a policy that focuses on economic growth and directs migration into an orderly railway, also by a tightened control of immigration.
“The AfD is not made small with fairy lights. The AfD is made small by making the problems that once made this party big,” said Lindner, who triggered several cheers with his speech and finally applauded for about four minutes became.
The FDP is fighting for the re -entry to the Bundestag. It has been four percent in the opinion polls for weeks. As in 2013, she would fly out of parliament. It is unclear whether and how it could go on for the party after such a failure.
Economic transition and control of migration
Lindner said the economic transition was a priority for liberal. “It has come a time when applying: Economy First.” A realignment of economic policy was not to be done in the traffic lights. That is why the FDP got out. “We had no other choice”.
The FDP chairman Sharp attacked the Greens and their candidate for chancellor Robert Habeck. “Robert Habeck is the largest growth brake in our country,” said Lindner about the Federal Minister of Economics. “With Robert Habeck, only the frustration grows and not the economy.”
Germany also needs a different immigration policy, emphasized Lindner. “We have made it difficult for them to get it too long that we urgently need in the labor market. And we have made it too long to stay easy for those who have only immigrated to our welfare state irregularly. And vice versa is better.” The party congress decided to call up with these and other core demands of the FDP for the election.
Habeck or Lindner in the next cabinet
Lindner explained the Bundestag election to the direction of the next cabinet. It is not about whether Olaf Scholz (SPD), Union candidate Friedrich Merz (CDU) or even Habeck will become Chancellor. “The crucial question is no longer the chancellorship. The crucial question is growth or stagnation. The crucial question is freedom or state. The crucial question is Lindner or Habeck in the cabinet. That is the crucial question of this election campaign.”
The FDP chairman and former traffic light finance minister again gave the Greens a clear rejection: “After the next Bundestag election, the Free Democrats will not form a government together with the Greens.” When the FDP comes back to the Bundestag, black and green has also been done.
Attacks also against Merz and Söder
Lindner also attacked CDU boss Merz, who praised Habeck for his asylum policy proposals in his own party. “This shows one thing: Friedrich Merz, he wants to become a chancellor. But he is also ready to sacrifice a change of policy in Germany for this. We are not.”
The sound also becomes more rough with the CSU. “Markus Söder warns of loan voices to the FDP: What loan votes does the CSU have that can have, how they are distributed?” Asked Lindner. “Markus Söder has exactly two voices, his own. He doesn’t have to borrow them, he can keep it.” Lindner emphasized that the FDP did not advertise loan voices. “We want to have confessional votes. If you think we are good at us, may choose us.”
Kubicki sees FDP as a bulwark against black and green
The deputy FDP chairman Wolfgang Kubicki, on the other hand, was directly aimed at the Union’s sympathizers: “The urgently needed turn in economic policy and in migration policy will only exist with the free democrats,” he said. “That’s why I call up all Union-proposed voters: Select the FDP on the election Sunday. We are the bulwark against black and green.”
Kubicki pointed out that many eligible voters were still undecided. “They can change everything. And I tell you: some will be surprised on election evening.”
Former CDU federal family Minister advertises for black and yellow
Kristina Schröder (CDU), former Federal Minister of Family Affairs, spoke as a guest in front of the FDP delegates and campaigned for black and yellow. There are worries about climate policy in which prosperity and freedom were lost, and because of uncontrolled, illegal migration. “I am convinced that our two parties have the great chance of winning back to previous non -voters or voters that we have lost to the AfD,” said Schröder.
