Better than the “crime scene” and almost half of the boys reached: the first TV quadrell has met with great interest among spectators.

7.55 million viewers have the first group of four, the “TV Quadrell” of starRTL and NTV, switched on. The RTL broadcaster thus achieved a strong market share of 25.2 percent. The discussion was the most watched program of the day before the “crime scene”.

Quadrell particularly successful among the boys

The TV duel between Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Union challenger Friedrich Merz a week ago at ARD and ZDF achieved more overall viewers (twelve million), but the Quadrell had a significantly more younger audience. 44.7 percent of 14- to 49-year-olds were interested in the debate of the Chancellor’s candidates.

The following discussion programs at RTL were also successful. “Who was best?” looked at 3.36 million people at RTL – more than half a million more than “Caren Miosga” in the first.

RTL had largely dispensed with advertising

Also of great interest were the cross -mistresses of Gregor Gysi, Sahra Wagenknecht and Christian Lindner, who did it to 2.23 million viewers. RTL had reported almost six hours of non -stop on the Bundestag election on Sunday and largely forego advertising.
