Robert Habeck wanted to make his Greens the People’s Party, but that will not be fulfilled in the foreseeable future. Basic questions arise for the party – again.
At half past one in the night of Monday it is clear that it will come as they didn’t want it. The BSW flies from the Bundestag – and the Greens are not used to rule. The Union and SPD also have a majority without them.
With only 11.6 percent, far below your own expectations, the Greens are now struggling in the opposition. For Robert Habeck, the Chancellor candidate, this is the greatest possible defeat. He failed.
