Selenskyj thanks the USA again
He was accused of ungratefulness, now the Ukrainian president finds clear words: he has always thanked the United States.
After a scandal in the White House, the Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj once again thanked the American people for help and support. “I thank President (Donald) Trump, the congress for his cross -party support, and the American people,” Selenskyj wrote on the X. The Ukrainians always appreciated this support, especially in the three years of the Russian invasion.
At a meeting in the White House with US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, Selenskyj was accused of a lack of gratitude on Friday.
Selenskyj has always thanked the United States for their help and support in recent years. In his evening video speeches, these words of thanks were part of his explanations in the direction of the USA and other supporters of Ukraine.
Even after the dispute with Trump in front of running cameras in the White House, Selenskyj found conciliatory words. “Our relationship with the American president is more than just that of two leaders,” wrote Selenskyj. “She is a historical and solid band between our peoples.” Therefore, he always starts with words of thanks to the American people.
