Almost seven months ago, Ukrainian troops marched into the Kursk area in the Russian area – in the fight against Moscow’s war of aggression. The opposite invasion was always considered a risky maneuver.
According to military bloggers, the Ukrainian troops are increasingly under pressure after their counterattack in the Russian area of Kursk. The Russian armed forces have increasingly had fire control over the supply of Kiev units in the region, reported the Ukrainian military blog “Deepstate”.
The Ukrainian side has therefore not initiated enough steps to ward off this danger. This worsens the situation of Kiev’s armed forces. Countermeasures are urgently necessary, it said. Russia had repeatedly announced that it would completely free the region.
The Ukrainian troops marched in at the beginning of August in order to put Russia under further pressure in its war of attack. Kiev troops brought dozens of towns under their control in the area close to the border, including the city of Sudscha. Most recently, the Russian troops had freed individual places again.
“Deepstate”: Heavy blows against Ukrainian troops
According to “Deepstate”, the Russian troops have been focusing on Ukrainian logistics since January. “For some reason, the corresponding decisions were not made by our side to fix this problem,” says the situation report.
The situation intensified in February. There were severe Russian blows against the Ukrainian troops. “The worst scenario would be that the Russian troops move directly to the city beach of Sudscha, even though they have practically already the fire control there.”
The Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj had the Course offensive and the intake of Russian territory as an important trade pawn in possible negotiations with Moscow. A loss of the Russian area would be a new heavy setback for the country, which has been defending itself against the war of attack for a good three years.
