Selenskyj satisfied with the summit in London
After the male at the end of his Washington visit, Selenskyj feels soothed and calms down after the summit in London. He now knows that Europe is closed behind Ukraine.
A few hours after the Ukraine summit in London, Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj thanked all participants for their efforts to regulate peace. “Common strength can protect our future,” Selenskyj wrote in the evening on the X.
“We feel strong support for Ukraine, for our people – both soldiers and civilians, and our independence,” Selenskyj continued. Together, working on a solid basis for working with the USA in search of true peace and guaranteed security. At the same time, he praised the unity of Europe, which is at an “extraordinarily high level, a level that has not been seen for a long time”.
At the summit of western heads of state and government two days after the unprecedented disagreement between US President Donald Trump and Selenskyj, Europeans had closed behind Selenskyj. The decision: A new peace plan for a ceasefire in Ukraine is to be developed without the USA.
“We discuss security guarantees with our partners and the conditions for just peace in Ukraine,” continued Selenskyj. Further meetings are planned in the near future. Another special summit in Brussels is already planned on Thursday, in which, in addition to the Ukraine crisis, a plan for the recovery of Europe is to be discussed.
