Russia keeps covering Ukraine with massive air raids at night. This time there were many dead and injured in the east of the country.

Russia killed at least eleven people with a new heavy air raid in the East Ukrainian mining city of Dobropillja in the Donetsk area. There were also at least 30 injuries among the goals in residential buildings, including five children, as the rescue workers announced. Eight five -storey houses and around 30 cars were damaged. Around 20 apartments caught fire, it said.

Russia used its multiple rocket launcher of Tornado, but also drones and a rocket of the Iskander type. The city was often the goal of attacks. In the evening there was initially five deaths. A total of at least 20 people have died in the Donetsk region since Friday, as Governor Wadym Filaschkin announced near Telegram.

Selenskyj: Sanctions against Russia

“Such attacks show that the goals of Russia have not changed,” wrote Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj on Facebook. “It is therefore crucial that we continue to do our best to protect life, strengthen our air defense and to tighten the sanctions against Russia,” he said. “Everything Putin helps finance the war has to collapse.”

After the suspension of US military aid for Ukraine, Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin explains the situation to implement his war goals faster. Among other things, he wants to bring the areas of Donetsk, Luhansk, Cherson and Saporischschja, which have not been fully occupied so far.

According to the authorities, at least three people were also killed in the Charkiw area in the east of Ukraine. Several people were injured in the middle of the night in the drone attack.

The information cannot be checked from an independent side. Russia has been a destructive war against Ukraine for more than three years.
