Russian troops have apparently taken the strategically important small town of Sudscha – almost half a year after the move of Ukraine in the West Russian area of Kursk.
According to a media report and military blogging, Russian troops are in the center of the small town of Sudscha in the West Russian area of Kursk. The state news agency Ria Novosti, citing a commander, reported that they had raised the Russian flag above the city administration building. Sudscha is the most important town that the Ukrainians could conquer in the summer of 2024 in their surprising push in Russian area.
Months before Sudscha, Ukraine had surprisingly pushed to Kursk
So far, there has been no comment on the advancement of the Russian troops at Sudscha.

The Ukrainian forces had been able to conquer more than 1000 square kilometers in the West Russian area of Kursk in their counterattack last August. Russia has been leading battles to recapture the territory for months – also supported by North Korean soldiers. Most recently, the Ukrainians had been massive in trouble and had to withdraw from several towns.
