Friedrich Merz no longer wants to describe a possible government of the Union and the SPD as a “grand coalition”. But what should it be called instead? The star Have a few ideas.
Admittedly, “Groko” no longer fits quite. Cooperation from the Union and the SPD as a “large” coalition is actually already forbidden with a view to the election results. Union and the SPD came together in the Bundestag election to 44.9 percent of the second votes. Just because the BSW slipped just under the 5 percent hurdle, it is enough for a majority of seats in the Bundestag. The future coalitioners probably come to 328 of the 630 seats – which means that the buffer is just twelve votes.
An alliance of the Union and SPD, which has already existed four times, has never been weaker than today. The Chancellor also recognized this in SPE. “A GroKo can no longer be called the planned coalition with these narrow majorities in parliament,” said Friedrich Merz the “Bild”.
The CDU chairman is looking for a new name. The star Of course, it is happy to help here. The editorial team would have a few suggestions:
The “Kleiko”
The “Kleiko”, ie the “small coalition”, is of course a polemic concept idea from the opposition. This should, in the sense of the word, be made up for the future federal government. The term is not wrong either. Because when he was created in 2005, the Groko parties united almost 70 percent of the second votes. However, the fact that Greens like to talk about “Kleiko” of all people seems a bit of history: the second red-green coalition from 2002 was only based on around 47 percent of the votes.
Black-red
You will probably not get an advertising price for this proposal. But how about returning to the good old political color theory? Just as black and yellow or red-green used to be, black and red will soon be ruled again.
The name findings traffic lights or Jamaica also had to do that it took too long to press three colors into a term. Purists could, however, say that the CDU has not been black for a long time, but “Cadenabbia” blue. And Cadenabbia coalition also sounds strange, isn’t it?
Albania coalition
With 194 countries and even more flags in the world, there are of course flags that only combine black and red. The Albanian flag shows a two -member black eagle on a red reason, which could apply to the coalition that forms in two ways. However, black and red is also the preferred color combination of anarchists and of course the Antifa.
Schuko – the “debt coalition”
The term goes in the direction of the “Kleiko”, but of course it is even a nasty one: “Schuko”, the “debt coalition”. The word creation is the favorite of rather right -wing media, but still harbors a real core. Because it is a fact that the new coalition obviously wants to accept as many debts as none in front of it.
In any case, she wrote to the Basic Law with the green commitments of more than one billion euros.
Rambozamboko-The “Rambozambo coalition”
Merz tries to spread the spirit of optimism. A government under his chancellery should stand for a real change of policy. In other words, something should happen. Or as he might say: there should be “Rambozambo”. His promise from the election campaign is already a cult – maybe also as a name for the new government?
Koko – the “compromise coalition”
Even if the SPD has slipped to historically bad 16 percent, the Social Democrats are emphasized confidently. If Merz wants a collaboration, he will have to “pay”-with ministerial posts and SPD positions in the coalition paper-so: with compromises. That doesn’t suit Merz ‘announcements in the election campaign, but is now political reality.
Friko – “Fritzes coalition”
It was (still) Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who said in the election campaign, “Fritze” Merz tell “Tünnkram”. A mocking frontal attack that the CDU chairman took more than versed. He is forbidden such names. But now, as the election winner Scholz, he could make ridiculous riding a return carriage, recycle his nickname and make him name for his coalition. Balsam for the battered Sauerland-Ego.
So much for the suggestions of the star editorial team. Now they are on the train! Vote which name a government of the Union and the SPD should bear.
