The FDP has to reorganize itself. For a place in the future management team, the head of the NRW FDP is now throwing his hat in the ring.
The North Rhine-Westphalian FDP state chairman Henning Höne is running for the office of deputy federal chairman of the Free Democrats. In a video on the Instagram platform, the 38-year-old in Coesfeld speaks for a new basic program. Not only the party, but also critics, interested parties and impulse leaders from society should be included in the process, demanded Hönen, who is also head of the Düsseldorf state parliamentary group.
The liberals no longer belong to the new Bundestag. The liberal warned that it is not enough to discuss tactically about a re -entry. “Why is the FDP need in the Bundestag at all? Only whoever answered this convincingly will be successful in the long term.”
Board elections take place in mid -May
The party needs an independent liberal line. “There is no place in the Bundestag for a right or left FDP,” emphasized Hönen. “Liberalism is not a mixed form – it is an independent political direction.” The new board will be elected in mid -May at a federal party conference in Berlin. The former chairman of the parliamentary group, Christian Dürr, competes for the successor of party leader Christian Lindner.
