“Overjoyed”: Baby by Christian Lindner and Franca Lehfeldt is here
Christian Lindner and Franca Lehfeldt are in baby happiness. “We have become parents of our first child,” the two write together on Instagram.
When one chapter ends, the next follows on the foot: Former FDP boss Christian Lindner and his partner Franca Lehfeldt, journalist and entrepreneur have received a child. On their Instagram accounts, the two publish a photo in black and white: “A few days ago we became parents of our first child”. The “Bild” newspaper had previously reported that the child was born on Sunday.
The photo shows a small baby hand in the wool jack, which is lovingly captured by the parents. “We are overjoyed and feel great gratitude that we are now a family,” the proud parents write. “We would like to thank you from the heart for the great sympathy and the many congratulations that we have achieved today.”

In November 2024, the couple had made pregnancy public. On the red carpet at an event, the 35-year-old showed herself in a tight evening dress with a visible baby tummy.
Christian Lindner withdrew from active politics

Lindner had commented on the common relationship a few times. Love is the top priority for him, he said in 2023, for example, the magazine “Bunte”. “We usually see each other every day – if it is somehow, I also get long distances home at night.” He can also imagine children: “But here, like in politics, the principle applies: less announce and deliver more.” He could imagine even more children. It is the first child for both.
