A new video shows the conditions under which the hostages are recorded in the Gaza Strip. A prisoner from Israel is not optimistic that he will survive.
A week after the video was published in the Gaza Strip, the young man family has released further parts of the recording. “It was a year and a half of suffering-every day is hell. There is nothing to eat, there is nothing to drink, I’m sick for half of the time,” says 21-year-old Rome Braslavski in the film.
“The next time I’m sick, nobody will take me to a hospital. What will happen is simple: I will die and you will throw me in a pit.”
In contrast to the part of the video published a week ago, Braslavski’s face is not pixelated in the new recording. She decided to publish the pictures “so that his cry can be heard,” the newspaper “The Times of Israel” quoted the family. “He not only screams, he begs us to save him.”
Young man in Gaza in the violence of Palestinian terrorists
The young man was kidnapped by the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023 by Palestinian terrorists, where he had worked as a guard. It is now in the violence of the group of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), which had published the video on their channels.
Under what circumstances the video was recorded is unclear. The hostage family had approved the publication of a shortened version of the video in Israeli media.
According to Israeli information, 24 hostages and 35 corpses of abducted people are currently being recorded in the Gaza Strip. After a two -month ceasefire, the Israeli armed forces resumed their massive attacks in mid -March after no agreement with Islamist Hamas had been extended.
Families of hostages accuse Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to put the life of their relatives in danger with military operation.
