The Ukraine War is still stuck, the attacked country has now offered Russia another ceasefire to take negotiations.
Shortly before a three -day Russian break, Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj confirmed the further proposal of a ceasefire of 30 days. “Our Ukrainian proposal to stop the attacks and stop the fire for at least 30 days remains in force,” he said in a video message. “We do not withdraw this proposal, which could give diplomacy a chance.”
Selenskyj complained from Russia, however, except for new attacks. In front of the fire break announced by Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin from midnight, the Russian army attacked Ukraine all Wednesday with drones and rockets.
Selenskyj: Counter attacks of Ukraine only fairly
“And it is absolutely fair that the Russian sky, the sky of the aggressor, is also restless today,” said Selenskyj. He referred to Ukrainian drones in airspace near Moscow, who disturbed civil air traffic all Wednesday. Tens of thousands of passengers were affected according to Russian reports.
Putin unilaterally announced a break from Thursday to Saturday about the Russian holidays to commemorate the victory in the Second World War 80 years ago.
