At the beginning of the year, North Korea supported Russia with soldiers on the front in Kursk. It was speculated whether Putin would show himself clearly – and he obviously did that.
According to a report, Russia has given North Korea with far -reaching military technology since the end of last year. Among other things, Moscow is said to have delivered at least one mobile anti -aircraft missile system from the Panzir model, according to an expert opinion from the “Multilateral Sanction Monitoring Team” (MSMT). This would violate existing UN sanctions that provide a weapon embargo against North Korea.
The MSMT was founded in October last year on the initiative of South Korea and the United States as an organization for sanction monitoring compared to North Korea after a corresponding UN expert committee had to be dissolved due to the veto of Russia. A total of eleven countries have joined the initiative, including Germany, France, Japan and Canada. The knowledge of the MSMT report is based on the secret service information of its member states.
North Korea receives support for military aid in Kursk
Russian military technology apparently received North Korea in return for his military support in Russia in the Ukraine War. According to Seoul, North Korea had sent at least 11,000 North Korean soldiers to the Russian region around Kursk since last autumn.
In February, the South Korean secret service also suspected a second wave of mobilization of North Korean troops of around 3000 additional soldiers. North Korea also delivered ammunition and artillery to Russia.
