“I don’t expect him to think too much. He’s an excellent goalkeeper,” said coach Julian Nagelsmann shortly before the game at DAZN. “He has no reason to be nervous.”
Sommer was signed by the German record champions for an estimated eight million euros on Thursday due to the month-long absence of national goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (broken leg), he came from league rivals Borussia Mönchengladbach.
