The Tyrolean, who only acted as a substitute in the normal hill individual of the combined athletes, had a razor with him in the trellis for the World Cup medal winners on Saturday evening in the ÖSV quarter in Latschach in Carinthia and put his hand on the Steirer Rehrl after the official part. At the 2022 Olympics in China, it was exactly the opposite, Greiderer had to let his hair down.

The whole thing resulted from a mutual bet in preparation for the Olympics, and Greiderer then stood at the award ceremony with a bald head. This time it happened a good hour after the medals were awarded for the normal hill individual, the hobby hairdresser took his job seriously. “He has more material upstairs. I think it’s going to be a really cool hairstyle,” Greiderer announced in anticipation a year ago. He didn’t take his teammate’s entire head of hair, but the sides had to accept it.

The winner of the 100th ÖSV medal in World Cup history took it in stride: “Luki said right away at the finish line, ‘Now it’s your hair’s turn.’ It’s the return carriage from last year. Gambling debts are debts of honor. I don’t think he did it so badly. I haven’t been able to look at it carefully in the mirror yet, but it fits. I’ve got a hat anyway.”
