“There are many areas in which we are good. Above all, the goals could have been prevented if we had implemented what we practiced in training,” says the Vorarlberger. Before the away game in Lafnitz on Friday at 6.10 p.m., he is confident: “We have to bring more consistency to our game and it will take a great performance from us. But we want to score points.” That would be important both for the table and for the self-confidence of his team.

However, the record against the Styrians, who had celebrated a 2-1 away win at Admira at the start, is not very rosy. In the nine second division duels with Lafnitz, the Red and Whites only managed one win – in the fall a 2-1 at home thanks to goals from Oliver Filip and David Bumberger.

Amstetten with the young bulls

Amstetten’s coach Jochen Fallmann can prepare for Sunday’s game (12.30 p.m.) at FC Liefering much more relaxed. His eleven showed great morale in the 3-3 win at home against Dornbirn at the weekend and even equalized a two-goal deficit when outnumbered. Sebastian Leimhofer shone as a double goal scorer. However, defensive stability needs to improve against the Young Bulls.
