Seattle won 5-2 (2-0, 1-1, 2-1) against the Anaheim Ducks in the North American ice hockey league and scored their fifth win in a row. Grubauer parried 20 of the 22 shots on his goal.

Seattle remains on the heels of top duo Vegas Golden Knights and Los Angeles Kings, who have 82 points, in the Pacific Division with 80 points. The Edmonton Oilers around Leon Draisaitl are a stubborn pursuer of the Kraken with 78 points.
