Will Weißkirchen/Allhaming complete the 30-game series in the Upper Austrian football league today? Before today’s home game against St. Martin/Mühlkreis, the Zebras have been unbeaten for 29 home games – they haven’t left the facility as a loser for 924 days.

The last time this happened was on September 4, 2020. Curious: Back then, like today, the opponent came from the Mühlviertel. “Of course we have internalized the artificial turf game. In contrast to the championship season, where we were able to win all but two home games at home, this year there were also a few draws,” says Weißkirchen coach Alfred Olzinger. Today, the 56-year-old expects a difficult task: “We will need a strong performance to keep our home series.”

Vöcklamarkt is also doing well in the regional league: The Hausruckviertler have been unbeaten in four games and have won three in the last four games. In the home game against the penultimate SAK Klagenfurt it is again about points against a direct competitor in the fight for relegation.

The Young Vikings in Weiz are being set up by a new interim coaching duo: Most recently, Ried’s amateur team was coached by Sport Director Wolfgang Fiala – but because there is still no new coach, the coaches of the U18 academy team are Bogdan Frisu and Lukas today Brandl on the side outline.
