Manchester City decided to extend the contract to the Argentine striker Julian Alvarez until the year 2028 as “recognition of his great season and the conquest of the World Cup with Argentina”the English club announced today.

Álvarez, born in Córdoba and raised at River Plate, has scored 10 goals in 33 games played this season, the first time he has played in England.
