Upper Austria’s duo is going into the decisive phase of the Bundesliga with away games: LASK will be guests on April 2 at the start of the championship group at Wiener Austria (2.30 p.m.).
“We want to watch from game to game, but we’re not afraid of anyone,” says LASK Sport Managing Director Radovan Vujanovic. The day before, SV Guntamatic Ried kicks off the qualifying group with the away game in Wolfsberg (5 p.m.).
It’s quite possible that goalkeeper Samuel Sahin-Radlinger will be back after his knee injury. It is still uncertain how long the 30-year-old will continue to play in the Innviertel, and he has not yet extended his contract, which expires in the summer. Sports director Thomas Reicheltshammer is in good spirits: “He has a very good offer. We hope that the talks will end positively.” One condition: the goalie must be able to switch to a lucrative offer for a fair fee.
LASK is also keeping an eye on the coming season: According to French media reports, Moussa Kone, striker of the French second division club Olympique Nimes, is to switch to Linz in the summer. The Senegalese’s contract expires in France. Sports director Vujanovic did not want to comment on Kone’s personnel: “I will not comment on rumours.” In this case, it should be more than a rumor.
