After being eliminated from the Champions League, Paris Saint-Germain is still playing for the title in the French championship, which is no more than a consolation prize. And things could get tight for the capital city there too, as the star squad made an embarrassing 3-1 fall against Lorient in front of their home crowd. With five laps to go, the lead over rivals Marseille is now just five points.
Enzo le Fee (15′) and Darlin Yongwa (39′) gave the underdog twice the lead before Bamba Diang (88′) made the decision just before the end. After the yellow-red card against PSG defender Achraf Hakimi (20th), Mbappe (29th) had equalized outnumbered in the meantime – with an extremely curious goal after an “invitation” from Lorient keeper Yvon Mvogo.
