Fischer would then give up his position at the head of the Hessen club after almost 24 years. Real estate agent Matthias Beck (52), a member of the Eintracht board of directors, is said to be the successor according to further media reports. Fischer has been at the helm of Eintracht since August 2000 and was elected for another four years in September 2022 with a large majority.
