Bielsa’s debut with Uruguay will be on June 14 against Nicaragua at the Centenario Stadium and then he will face Cuba on the 20th of the same month: previously, on May 21, he will officially give the squad list for those matches by the FIFA Date .

For Bielsa it will be his third process as a coach in charge of a national team: he led Argentina between 1998 and 2004, playing in the group stage of the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup and obtaining the title in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and second place in the 2004 America’s Cup; and to Chile between 2007 and 2011, where he achieved second place in the South American Qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, where he finished his participation in the round of 16.
