Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat are conference finalists in the NBA

The Los Angeles Lakers eliminated the Golden State Warriors, current champion, in the Western Conference, while the Miami Heat beat the New York Knicks and will define the West, in results of the NBA playoffs.

Lakers won 122-101 at their Crypto.com Arena stadium and won the best-of-seven-game series 4-2, their next commitment being in the final on May 20 at home in the new series against the Denver Nuggets.

Led by the hand by a remarkable LeBron James, with 30 points, the Lakers left the Warriors on the road, who had a great Stephen Curry, with 32 points, but who had no company from the rest of the team.

Curry’s Warriors, Klay Thompson (8 points) and Draymond Green (9) had not lost in a West playoff since coach Steve Kerr took over the team in the 2014-15 season.

In the Lakers, Austin Reaves added 23 points, followed by D’Angelo Russell with 19, while Curry only had Donte Divincenzo as an aid with 16 points.

For their part, the Miami Heat defeated the New York Knicks 96-92 at the Kaseya Center in Florida and won the series 4-2 on aggregate.

Now the Heat await the finalist who will come out of the game between the Boston Celtics-Philadelphia Sixers that will face each other tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. in Argentina, being tied 3-3, at the TD Garden stadium.

The Knicks had another tremendous performance from point guard Jalen Brunson, who had 41 points, but ended up falling to the team of Jimmy Butler, who scored 24 points, and Bam Adebayo, who finished with 23 baskets.

Brunson, who spent 45 minutes on the court and matched his best mark in the playoffs with 41 points (he made five triples) and added four rebounds and three assists.

On the other hand, the other two figures of the Knicks, Julius Randle (15 points) and RJ Barrett (11), failed against the pressure and the defense of Miami and between them added a poor statistic of 4/24 in field goals.
