The giant statue portrays a historical photo of the former Instituto de Córdoba striker, created with recycled iron sheets and replicates the celebration of Kempes’s goal in the 1978 Argentina World Cup final.
With this image, the Cordovan artist Simón Ibáñez Durán made this work of art weighing 1,400 kilos and 8.5 meters high, mounted on a 1.5-meter-high concrete base.
