Pavao Pervan has a special connection to the game, having been born in Bosnia not too far from Mostar. “But of course I help LASK,” says the ex-LASK captain, who has been playing in Wolfsburg since 2018. “My grandparents still live in Livno, the town where I was born. I moved to Austria with my parents when I was four years old to get my kidney problems under control.”
The favorite role is clear for Pervan: “If LASK does not take the opponent lightly, then the rise will also succeed.” Nevertheless, he also has compliments for the opponent: “Zrinjski Mostar is a club that works very sensibly and does not take any financial risks. The big goal has already been achieved because the club will continue to play even if they are eliminated in the group stage of the Conference League No Bosnian team has done that before.”
