What the men from Blau-Weiss Linz are still waiting for in the Bundesliga, the women managed at the first attempt: a home win in the Hofmann Personal Stadium. At the start of the women’s soccer Bundesliga, Blau-Weiss Linz/Kleinmünchen won 5-0 against Bergheim.
Almedina Sisic (10th, 62nd), Karla Jedvaj (21st, 73rd) and Therese D’Angelo (28th) scored in the perfect start. Due to the resounding victory, the women from Linz share second place with the runners-up from Sturm Graz, who also won against FC Lustenau/Dornbirn 5-0. It’s a nice snapshot for Blau-Weiss Linz/Kleinmünchen, especially since the aim of the season is to stay up in the league. The rout against the possible competitor was a statement.
