The Argentine women’s volleyball team beat Bulgaria 3 to 2, on the sixth day of the Tokyo Pre-Olympic, and added its second victory in the tournament that distributes only two places for the Paris 2024 Games.

The Panthers beat the Bulgarians after a hard-fought match that had scores of 25-14, 14-25, 25-20, 19-25 and 18-16. The opposite number from Córdoba, Bianca Cugno, 20 years old, was once again the Argentine top scorer – and of the match – with 20 points.

The team led by Daniel Castellani will close its participation in the Pre-Olympic this Sunday at 1 am against Peru, with transmission on ESPN and Star+.

Argentina, which lost to Brazil (3-0) and Japan (3-0), beat Belgium (3-0) and then fell to Turkey (3-1) and Puerto Rico (3-2), returned to the victory against Bulgaria (3-2) in a great performance.
