Borussia Dortmund returned from their Champions League visit to Newcastle United with a 1-0 win and a parking ticket for illegal parking.
Videos show (see below) how an English parking sheriff sticks a ticket on the windshield of the top German club’s vehicle because it is parked in several angled parking spaces.

The responsible local council, North Tyneside Council, confirmed the fine for illegal parking to the BBC. The bus was in Tynemouth, a coastal town in north-east England almost 16 kilometers from Newcastle.
Thanks to the bonus for the 1-0 away win in the Champions League group game, BVB should be able to cope with the fine. 50 pounds (around 57.50 euros) are due – the amount even drops to 25 pounds if it is paid within two weeks.
