Cancelation of the SV Ried game has consequences

SV Ried will be visiting the Sturm Graz Amateurs on December 6th.

Second division soccer team SV Guntamatic Ried wasn’t particularly happy about the cancellation of their last away game at Sturm Graz Amateurs. The game had to be canceled the day before the game at the beginning of November after heavy rain. This may only be done by the referee himself or by an authorized official. On the day of the game it was sunny. Now the Bundesliga has withdrawn SK Sturm Graz’s approval for the stadium in Gleisdorf. The supplementary game against Rieder on December 6th must take place in an alternative stadium that the Graz team must name. Otherwise the game will be verified 0:3. According to the regulations, the Sturm stadium in Liebenau is tricky because it is already reserved for Sturm and the GAK – and in principle no more than two teams are allowed to play league games in the same stadium. It will probably be up to the league whether there is an exception for these two games in the fall.
