Macri filed a complaint with the Electoral Commission rejecting the endorsements presented by the former soccer player’s group.
The candidate for vice president of Boca, Mauricio Macripresented a letter this Thursday to the Electoral Commission in which he denounced alleged irregularities in the groups that make up the ruling party’s list, headed by Juan roman riquelme as a candidate for president and Jorge Amor Ameal as first vice.
One of these groups is I’m Bosterowhich Riquelme founded in the middle of last year, of which it was reported that approximately 10,000 endorsements that were presented for officialization were not certified before a notary public, so they should not be allowed to participate in the elections on December 2.
As for two other groups, For a Better Mouth and Xeneizes forever Bocait was reported that they are not allowed to participate according to Article 16 of the General Election Regulations, which establishes that “the electoral status of the groups will automatically cease” when they stop participating directly during two consecutive elections or four alternately.
For a Better Boca was not part of the club’s elections in 1999, 2011, 2015 and 2019; while Xeneizes por Siempre Boca did not appear for the elections in 2003, 2011, 2015 and 2019, so they would be left out of this year’s elections, 2023.
However, The opposition does not see it as very likely that the complaint will succeed, since the Electoral Commission is made up of three members of the ruling party: the club secretary, Ricardo Rosica; the treasurer, Carlos Montero and a voting member appointed by the Board of Directors, Sebastián Rodríguez.

“Facing Riquelme? It is perhaps the most painful challenge, because I brought him to Boca from the Argentinos Juniors Inferiores. I brought him back when I took advantage of his conflict in Villarreal and we won the Copa Libertadores again, in which he played his best tournament.
