The World Cup defending champion in Nordic combined landed at 135 meters in Lillehammer on Sunday after switching to the large hill. The now 60-time World Cup winner Jarl Magnus Riiber was once again outstanding. After a 141 m flight, the Norwegian has a 55 second lead at the cross-country skiing start at 11:30 a.m.
The ÖSV team presented itself very well in the first part of the competition, with six of the eight Austrians ending up in the top 14: Franz-Josef Rehrl (+1:06 min.) and Stefan Rettenegger (+1:08) were with 134.5 and . 133.5 meters fourth and fifth respectively, Martin Fritz, Lukas Greiderer and Thomas Rettenegger are in seventh, ninth and 14th place.
